Terms and Conditions

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have the failure rectified in a reasonable time. If this is not done, you are entitled to a refund for the goods and to obtain a refund of any unused portion.

In addition to the rights conferred by the Australian Consumer Law, A Watch in Time also offers refunds set out in this Refund Policy.

A Watch in Time will Refund or Exchange at any time where goods are:

  • Deemed to be faulty (ie- have a manufacturing fault or defect).
  • In conflict with any other rights provided for by the Australian Competition and Consumer Act and the Australian Consumer Law.
  • Product must be returned unworn and in resalable condition
  • Proof of purchase to be provided & returned in its original packaging
  • Exchange may be by way of a product exchange
  • Watches must have the original watch box, warranty and links


Refunds will be returned in same method of payment (this includes gift vouchers).
We will offer a refund for faulty goods only but not for change-of-mind purchases. You have 30 days from the time you receive your order, to obtain an exchange only in this case (excluding postage)

Refund – 30-day money back guarantee:

  • Subject to inspection must be in re-sellable unworn condition
  • Proof of purchase
  • Returned in original box
  • Refund must be returned in same method of payment

Exchange – 30-day exchange policy:

  • 30-day exchange available for items with proof of purchase if in unworn re-sellable condition. Must have original box, warranty and links that have been removed.
  • Condition of item is based on the assessment by A Watch in Time.

The benefits under this “Returns & Exchange” policies are in addition to all rights
and remedies conveyed by the Australian Competition and Consumer Act and the Australian Consumer Law to which you may already be entitled. This policy does not exclude, restrict or modify any such rights or remedies that are implied by law. 

If you return an item, please ensure that you include your original invoice/receipt and a short note stating the details of the item you would like to exchange.

Please note that postage charges are non-refundable.
